Lola A. (“Angie”) Walsh has been a resident of Marietta, Georgia since December, 1989. Due to transfers by her husband’s employer, Angie was a paralegal with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, Kansas City, Missouri, from 1975 to 1980; Calfee, Halter & Griswold, Cleveland, Ohio, from 1980 to 1986; Mays & Valentine, Richmond, Virginia, from 1986 to 1987; McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe, Richmond, Virginia, from 1987 to 1989; and King & Spalding, Atlanta, Georgia, beginning in January, 1990. Angie became a Trusts & Estates Specialist with King & Spalding in 1994, and accompanied Henry L. Bowden, Jr. when he opened The Bowden Law Firm, P.C., in 1995 (now The Bowden Law Firm). Mr. Bowden and Angie have worked together for over 30 years.
Angie’s areas of concentration include estate planning, estate administration, preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns and charitable gift planning. Angie received her B.S.E. (emphasis in Business Education) from Central Missouri State University (now University of Central Missouri), Warrensburg, Missouri, in 1971, and her Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Rockhurst College, Kansas City, Missouri, in 1977. For further education, Angie has attended The Philadelphia Institute, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as the Annual Estate Planning Conferences presented by The Georgia Society of CPAs.
