Bruce Duhamel has over forty years of experience in trust and estate matters. His primary areas of practice have included fiduciary income, gift, and estate tax as well as trust and estate administration.
Bruce received his B.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, in 1976. After graduation, Bruce was employed as a Tax Specialist with Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company (a subsidiary of BNY Mellon), Boston, Massachusetts, specializing in individual and fiduciary income, gift, and estate tax. After 4 years, Bruce was hired by the Boston law firm of Bingham, Dana & Gould as a Probate Administrator, specializing in fiduciary income, gift and estate tax.
Bruce moved to Atlanta in July 1984 to join the law firm of King & Spalding as a Tax Consultant, specializing in fiduciary income, gift and estate tax as well as trust and estate administration, where he was employed for twenty-five years. Bruce then moved to the Bowden Spratt Law Firm, providing similar services for 10 years.
After 40+ years in the fiduciary income, gift and estate tax field, Bruce is now an independent contractor specializing in gift and estate tax.
